Cash for Vote scam to be opened again, ACB court orders re-investigation
In a major blow to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, the Telangana ACB court has ordered a re-investigation into the Cash for Vote scam.
In a major blow to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, the Telangana ACB court has ordered a re-investigation into the Cash for Vote scam. A deadline of September 29 has been set by the court to complete the reinvestigation. The case that remained in the back-burner for over a year would now be investigated once again.
The order was issued in connection with the petition filed by YSRCP leader and Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy. The YSRCP MLA furnished the forensic report from a private laboratory the voice-sample of the telephonic conversation with TRS Anglo-Indian MLA Stephenson was that of Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking on the same, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy said that the Court has revealed that the voices in the tapes are original as per the Forensic Science Lab report (FSL) and added the report should be brought out as Chandrababu's voice is also there.
