The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) in other places in the State were: Ibrahimpatnam 6, Nagarjunsagar, Saroornagar, Golkonda, Burgampadu 5 each, Hayathnagar, Velpur, Yacharam, Thimmajipeta, Sangareddy 4 each, Navipet, Makloor, Suryapet, Hakimpet IAF Station, Hyderabad Airport, Tekulapalle, Metpalle, Madhira and Bonakal 3 each. 

Hyderabad: Heavy rains lashed many places in Telangana during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Sunday with Mahbubnagar, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad districts receiving heavy showers. While Jadcherla (Mahbubnagar) recorded eight cm of rainfall, there was seven cm of rain each in Jukkal, Armur (both in Nizamabad), Mahbubnagar and Devarakonda (Nalgonda).

There was two cm of rain each in Luxettipet, Sathupalle, Miryalaguda, Ganded, Kalwakurthy, Ramannapet, Bhuvanagiri, Perur, Kammarpalle, Venkatapuram, Palakurthi, Banswada, Kothagudem, Bheemgal and Kollapur.

The Met department bulletin on Sunday warned of heavy rain occurring at isolated places in Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Khammam and Warangal districts on Sunday and Monday, as the southwest monsoon has been active in Telangana.

The low pressure area over the west-central Bay of Bengal off north Andhra coast is persisting. The associated upper air cyclonic circulation extending up to mid-tropospheric level is also persisting.

The axis of monsoon trough at the mean sea level continues to pass through Bikaner, Guna, Jabalpur, Durg, the center of low pressure and thence east-southeastwards to the east-central Bay. The forecast said light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely at most places in Telangana from Monday to Thursday. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.
