Hyderabad: The Met department predicted light to moderate rains or thundershowers at few places in Telangana from Sunday to Tuesday.
It said the upper air cyclonic circulation formed over northwest Bay of Bengal and its neighbourhood would likely to descend to lower tropospheric levels and develop into a low pressure area during the next 48 hours.
Meanwhile, it rained at many places in Khammam, Warangal, Nizamabad and Ranga Reddy districts on Saturday with Yellandu (Khammam) recording the highest of 8 cm rainfall.
The chief amounts of rainfall in other parts of the State were: Bhadrachalam 7cm, Burghampad and Dummugudem 6 cm each.
