Deploy adequate police in new districts: CS
Telangana Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma on Saturday directed the State Police department to deploy required staff and make all necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of administration in the newly- formed districts before they come into existence on Dasara on October 11.Â
​Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma on Saturday directed the State Police department to deploy required staff and make all necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of administration in the newly- formed districts before they come into existence on Dasara on October 11.
The Chief Secretary, who heads Task Force Committee on formation of new districts, held a meeting with top cops attended by DGP Anurag Sharma and others at the Secretariat here on Saturday.
Sharma asked the officials to upload details of all police officials working in districts and division of employees between old and new districts.
The officials were also instructed to identify suitable buildings for police head offices in district headquarters, furniture, vehicles and other logistic support so that it could be provided before they start functioning.
The DGP, meanwhile, informed the CS of progress in the establishment of Superintendent of Police offices, Crime Record Bureau, CID, Special Branch, crime stations and armed reserves in every district.
