Youth Congress slams TRS government

Khammam: Youth Congress leaders opposed the government’s move to merge Bayyaram and Garla mandals in the proposed Mahabubabad district. In a meeting here on Sunday, Youth Congress Khammam Parliament president Ramreddy Sricharan Reddy alleged that the move is to plunder the iron ore resources in the region.

He also accused the government of being unilateral in the formation of new districts. He demanded the government to conduct a scientific study before carving out new districts. Vanam Chandrasekhar, Bellamkonda Sharath, K Kranthi, Pradeep Shah, Gnanender and B Bondaiah were among others present.
