A three-year-old girl was locked inside a car in Hyderabad on Wednesday as her parents left the girl to have breakfast at a hotel. The girl\'s screams were noticed by passersby, who tried to open the door but as the car was centrally locked, they finally freed the girl by forcing the door open with a crowbar.Â

The family reportedly driving to Bengaluru had stopped for breakfast at Shamshabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad but as the child was sleeping, the parents apparently decided to leave her in the car parked outside the hotel.
However, when the girl woke up to a stifling, empty car, she started wailing. A video of the entire incident has gone viral showing people around the car trying to rescue the child. The parents, who returned after their meal tried to defend themselves by saying that they left the child alone as she was sleeping. However, as the situation turned out of control, they drove off.
