Hyderabad: The Hyderabad School Parents Association (HSPA) on Wednesday criticised the State government for not taking any action against private schools which were charging high fees.
Stating that while successive governments in erstwhile united AP ignored the private school sector, the Association said the current Telangana government had also not formed any State Fee Regulatory Committee (SFRC) yet.
According to the HSPA, the Supreme Court of India in several rulings, some of them as recent as May 2016, ruled that education cannot be run as a profitable business.
