Miryalaguda should remain in Nalgonda
The party leaders took the step in the wake of the demand by a few leaders for including Miryalaguda in the newly carving Suryapet district. Speaking on the occasion, Ranga Reddy said that CPM welcomed the State government’s decision to continue Miryalaguda town in Nalgonda district.
Nalgonda: CPI (M) district secretary Julakanti Ranga Reddy demanded the State government continuing of Miryalaguda town in Nalgonda district as per the draft notification of reorganisation of the district. Along with the party leaders, Ranga Reddy submitted a memorandum to the District Collector seeking the continuation of Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district.
The party leaders took the step in the wake of the demand by a few leaders for including Miryalaguda in the newly carving Suryapet district. Speaking on the occasion, Ranga Reddy said that CPM welcomed the State government’s decision to continue Miryalaguda town in Nalgonda district.
Strongly objecting the demand of some leaders for inclusion of Miryalaguda in Suryapet district, he suspected political motive behind it. He pointed out that Miryalaguda town was geographically nearer to Nalgonda and people of the town had special attachment with Nalgonda for decades.
