​Hyderabad: The Met department bulletin on Tuesday warned of heavy rain lashing isolated places in all the Telangana districts on Wednesday. The forecast said light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in the State.

According to the Met department, the low pressure area over the west-central Bay of Bengal and its adjoining coastal areas of south Odisha and north Coastal Andhra Pradesh now lies over the west-central Bay and its adjoining coastal Andhra Pradesh. The Southwest Monsoon has been vigorous in Telangana.

Rain occurred at most places in Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Medak, Karimnagar, Adilabad, Ranga Reddy and Mahbubnagar districts. Devarakonda and Nalgonda (both in Nalgonda district) recorded 9 cm of rain each.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded elsewhere in the State were: Miryalaguda (Nalgonda) 7 cm, Machareddy (Nizamabad) and Kampasagar (Nalgonda) 6 cm each, Ramayampet (Medak), Medak, Jagtial, Adilabad and Gandhari (Nizamabad) 5 cm each, Ramannapeta, Ibrahimpatnam, Kalwakurthy (Mahbubnagar), Boath (Adilabad) ,

Vangoor (Mahbubnagar) , Gambhiraopet (Karimnagar) 4 cm each. There was 3 cm of rain each in Navipet, Kalwakurthy, Varni, Lingampet, Golkonda, Achampet, Kusumanchi, Nagareddipet, Kamareddy, Suryapet, Sarangapur, Tadwai, Domakonda, Kollapur, Metpalle, Yacharam, Yellareddy , Hayathnagar, Mortad, Nizamsagar, Wanaparthy and Bheemgal.
