Nalgonda: The residents of Bhagvan Colony in the town have conducted the Ganesh idol immersion in a novel way on Wednesday by pouring water on the idols.
Bhagvan Sri Ganesh Charitable Trust has setup clay Ganesh idol at Bhagvan Colony, highlighting the importance of going eco-friendly. On Wednesday, the clay Ganesh idol was placed in a temporarily created water tank at the pandal and water was poured on the idol till it was melted.
The Trust memberm Boddupally Salaiah, informed that the melted clay of Ganesh idol would be distributed to the residents of the colony as it would be considered auspicious.
