SP participates in Ganesh pooja
District Superintendent of Police P Vishwa Prasad participated in the Ganesh pooja celebrations organised by Om Ganesh Mandali in the town on Wednesday.
Nizamabad: District Superintendent of Police P Vishwa Prasad participated in the Ganesh pooja celebrations organised by Om Ganesh Mandali in the town on Wednesday. Later, an Annadanam programme was also organised. He also personally served food to all those who came to partake in the programme.
Among those who participated in the programmed were the students of the school for deaf and dumb, students of Sneha Society and Rose Urban Home and people from all walks of life.
Later, the Superintendent of Police felicitated the members of Vithaleshwara Bhajana Mandali, Shiva Bhakti Bhajana mandali and Kisan Ganesh mandali by presenting them with mementoes and shawls for participating in the cultural programmes for the Ganesh festival.
Additional Superintendent of Police Chandana Deepti, Nizamabad Town DSP Anand Kumar and AR DSP Syed Anwar Hussain, Special Branch Inspector of Police M Muni, Town Circle Inspector Yadaiah and others were present.
