Sattupalli Ganesh laddu auctioned for 4.1 lakh

A temple for Lord Ganesh is being constructed in front of JVR Park and the income got through the auction would go into building the temple. Sattupalli Ganesh Utsav committee, which is celebrating Ganesh festival for the past 14 years, organised poor-feeding programmes.
Sattupalli (Khammam): The 1400 kg laddu of Sattupalli Lord Ganesh fetched Rs 4.10 lakh, twice the amount than the last year’s price, in the auction conducted here on Thursday. In the auction, Vangari Rajesh and his friends grabbed the laddu for Rs 4.10 lakh.

Utsav committee president Kesavareddy, members Kothuru Prabhakar Rao, Darapuneni Narayana, Gadireddy Rambabu Reddy, Kusampudi Srinivasa Rao, Ekadasamurthy and others participated in the laddu auction.
