​Hyderabad: B C Welfare Minister Jogu Ramanna directed the officials to avoid negligence and have more commitment to reach out to the people through various schemes. He took a jibe at the previous governments for the injustice meted out to the Backward Communities in the State. He vouched for the welfare of BCs and BC Study Circles to provide job guarantee training and coaching.

The Minister called upon the officials to focus on standards to ensure that the training offered at these study circles would prove handy for youth to get jobs. These study circles would be strengthened to provide the youth and students to excel in the competitive examinations, he said.

The purpose of the government welfare schemes would be served when the officials avoid delaying old process and move ahead with innovative ideas to serve people instantaneously, he said. Soon a BC Commission would be set up and schools for BCs would be launched across the State.

He also said there was a plan to start a federation for nomadic tribe for their welfare. Ramanna told media persons this after holding a high level review meeting at Secretariat here. The Minister stated that the government was for the welfare of the poor and the deprived class. The previous governments neglected the BCs and denied basic facilities to them, he charged. The TRS government is for opening up new Gurukul schools in every Assembly constituency for BCs, he added.
