​Hyderabad: Former Nasscom Chairman BVR Mohan Reddy has been appointed as honorary consul of Germany for Hyderabad. According to a press release issued by the Telangana Chief Minister's Officer (CMO), German Ambassador Martin Ney, accompanied by his wife Gabriele Ney, today called on Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) here and conveyed the news.
Reddy is Executive Chairman of Cyient Limited (Formerly Infotech Enterprises Limited). KCR, after briefing the visiting dignitary about the state industrial and IT policies, handed over a copy of Industrial Policy and said this is the best single window policy in the world.
The Ambassador expressed his country's preparedness to bring German companies to Telangana and invest here in future.
