​Warangal: The speakers at a youth convention, titled ‘Youth as Change Agent’, have called upon the youth to explore their potential to act as agents of change to build a better society. The convention was organised by Kazipet based NGO, Bala Vikasa at Fatima Nagar here on Tuesday.More than 3,000 youth attended the convection from across the State. Financial assistance and gifts worth about Rs 30 lakhs distributed to the students, who scored more than 60 marks in their examinations.

It becomes the duty of every student to act responsibly in eradicating superstitious practices like discrimination of widows.Bala Vikasa executive director S Shoury Reddy said youth should act as change makers in villages.He explained about the significance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the incubation centre which was started by Bala Vikasa in Hyderabad to support the social entrepreneurs with innovative ideas.Bala Vikasa president Basani Marredy, sister Albert, Jana Vikasa president Lordu Marredy and others were present.
