The Corporation officials said that it had become a herculean task to maintain city infrastructure with the current development charges and decided to revise it.
According to officials, the last revision was done seven years back and now this would help the Corporation to mop up about Rs 70 crore.
It has decided to increase Rs 75 per sqm (for land) and Rs 100 per sqm (for built up area) in residential areas and Rs 100 per sqm (for land) and Rs 125 per sqm (for built up area) in non-residential areas.
