The Collector said that the senior citizens need not approach the Court of Law if there was any injustice done to them. Instead, if they approach the local RDO, he would take necessary action.  Speaking on the occasion, Superintendent of Police Viswa Prasad said that the Police department would essentially step into the complaints of senior citizens and would strive to do justice.

​Nizamabad: District Collector Yogita Rana said that the senior citizens should hold back their assets till the last moment without parting with them in favour of sons and daughters, very early. She was addressing a meeting held in connection with International Senior Citizens Day at Ambedkar Bhavan here on Thursday.

Assistant director of department for physically challenged and senior citizens Chinnaiah, Siddaiah, Ramachandra Reddy, Raji Reddy, Laddaram and District Consumer Information Centre president Rajeswar participated in the programme.
