Tanks are important to fishermen just like land to farmers. When the tanks are full with water, the fishermen will also get the work. Thousands of tanks in the district were restored under Mission Kakatiya and majority of them were brimming with water due to recent rains. The Minister directed the Assistant Director of the Fisheries to give permission to people of all castes in the surrounding villages of Musi project, who were willing to take up fish hunting in the project.Coming down heavily on Opposition parties, Srinivas Yadav felt that the Opposition leaders have been leveling baseless allegations on the TRS government and trying to create hurdles to the projects as they are afraid that their parties would lose existence, if these projects are completed.
He pointed out that the Chief Minister has succeeded in ensuing nine-hour power supply to agriculture sectors in two years, which was not possible in the last 60 years. Asserting that the TRS will continue in power for another 20 years and no scope for any other party in the State, he advised the Opposition leaders to keep it in mind and take a wise decision.
