Padma Rao inaugurates Mancherial district
Mancherial district was separated from Adilabad district and formed into a new district having 18 mandals and two revenue divisions. Government whip Nallala Odelu inaugurated the District Collector’s office along with MLA Nadipelli Diwakar Rao, MLC Puranam Satish Kumar and Bellampally MLA Durgam Chinnayya. RV Karnan assumed the office as the first incumbent District Collector of the new district.Â
Mancherial: Excise Minister T Padma Rao inaugurated one of the 21 new districts - Mancherial district – as part of the inauguration spree in the State. He said that the new districts were carved out of the existing districts by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to achieve greater administrative decentralisation and administrative convenience.
