‘Agri-based industries soon in Suryapet’
Speaking on the occasion, Jagadish Reddy pointed out that Suryapet is an agriculture-based district and the farmers would be trained in modern cultivation methods and provided necessary farm mechanism also. He assured to strive to bring agri-based industries in the district that would help the farmers.
Kodad (Suryapet): Agriculture-based industries would be setup in Suryapet district, which is basically agri-based area, Minister for Power and SC Development G Jagadish Reddy informed. The Minister attended the oath-taking ceremony of K Shashidar Reddy as the Chairman of Kodad Market Committee at Kodad town in Suryapet district on Sunday. The Market Committee Vice-Chairman M Srinivas and other directors took charge on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Jagadish Reddy pointed out that Suryapet is an agriculture-based district and the farmers would be trained in modern cultivation methods and provided necessary farm mechanism also. He assured to strive to bring agri-based industries in the district that would help the farmers.
Making it clear that irrigation facility would be provided to second crops also in the district, he assured that works of check dams would be completed in next year. Zilla Parishad Chairman Balu Naik, MP Gutha Sukender Reddy, MLC P Rajeshwar Reddy, Municipal Chairman Anitha, Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham and others attended the programme.
