They along with several other leaders have reviewed the arrangements made for the meeting. About 25,000 public and the party cadre from Mahabubabad, Bhupalpalli, Jangaon, Warangal Urban and Rural districts are expected to attend the meeting.Â
Mahabubabad: All is set for the Congress party’s ‘Rythu Garjana’ to be held at NTR Stadium here on Thursday on farmers’ issues.
The meeting is aimed to highlight the plight of the farmers and to put pressure on the government to initiate remedial measures, said the District Congress Committee (DCC) president N Rajender Reddy and the party MLA D Madhava Reddy.
They along with several other leaders have reviewed the arrangements made for the meeting. About 25,000 public and the party cadre from Mahabubabad, Bhupalpalli, Jangaon, Warangal Urban and Rural districts are expected to attend the meeting.
At the meeting the party will collect petitions from the farmers seeking crop loan waiver at one go. AICC general secretary and Telangana affairs in-charge Digvijay Singh, AICC SC Cell chairman Koppula Raju, TPCC president M Uttam Kumar Reddy, working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, the TPCC former chief P Lakshmaiah, senior leader K Jana Reddy and others will address the meeting.
Rajender Reddy along Warangal in-charge Nandi Ellaiah, observer R Kantha Rao, DCC Bank chairman J Raghava Reddy, former mayor E Swarna, Mahabubabad district Congress leader J Bharathchandra Reddy and others have been engaged in making arrangements for the past few days.
