Warangal: Home Minister N Narsimha Reddy has taken serious exception to the criticism by Opposition parties over districts reorganisation. He said the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, has taken the revolutionary decision of reorganising the districts to ensure better administration at grass roots level. The creation of smaller districts was meant to take the governance to the door step of rural masses. He addressed a gathering at the valedictory of International General Assembly of The International Movement of Catholic Agriculture and Rural Youth (MIJARC-) held at Fatima Nagar in Kazipet on Tuesday.

Addressing the gathering he alleged that Opposition parties were worried that their future would be at stake as the TRS government was making efforts to resolve the public problems. The Opposition was not able to digest the pro-people measures being taken up by the State government.
As a result some of the Opposition leaders were making cheap comments against the government, he said.TRS MP hits out at Prof Kodandaram, Cong, TDP leadersAddressing a press conference at the TRS district party office in Hanamkonda on Tuesday, the party MP B Vinod Kumar hit at TDP and TJAC chairman Prof M Kodandaram. Their allegations against the State government were lacking sense, he said.

The MP dismissed the remarks by the TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy, TDP leaders and the TJAC leader, who complained lack of scientific approach in the creation of new districts and accused the government of neglecting public demands. If their allegations were true, the public would have protested but there was no such activity seen anywhere. On other hand, the people were happy at the creation of smaller districts though there were some minor demands on reorganisation of mandals at few places, Vinod Kumar pointed out.

Referring to the issue of fake seeds, the MP held the previous regimes led by Congress and the BJP at the Centre as responsible. The Congress during its rule failed to bring out the Seeds Act and the same was the case with BJP.If the act was passed in the parliament it would have strengthened the states in the country to deal with issue of seeds supply and curb fake seeds producers. Yet the TRS government was making sincere efforts in controlling the fake seeds producers and suppliers.Chief Minister KCR directed the officials to book the erring seed distributors under PD Act, Vinod Kumar said.
