​Hyderabad: In yet another innovative initiative, the TSWREI Society, in collaboration with Edutor Technologies, India, has introduced tablet-based learning programme for the students to give a big push to technology-enabled education in schools. This initiative is first of its kind in the government education sector in the State.

Inaugurating the programme at Gowlidoddi school, Jayesh Ranjan, Secretary IT, Electronics and Communication, said the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREI) was a pioneer in promoting innovative programmes in the field of education. He congratulated Secretary Dr R S Praveen Kumar for introducing path-breaking programmes in an endeavour to bring about a radical change in the career of the children.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Praveen Kumar said tablets were distributed as part of the Chief Minister’s ambitious mission to provide quality education to the underprivileged students under the KG-to-PG Mission. He thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Minister for Scheduled Caste Development G Jagadish Reddy for their active support to the programme.
