Hyderabad: TDP working president A Revanth Reddy on Saturday ridiculed the survey reports which claimed TRS would sweep the polls leaving Opposition parties to single digit seats if by-elections were held this year. Addressing a press conference here, he said the survey agency has no credibility and it was handpicked by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Revanth dared KCR to organise praja ballot (people's ballot) to ascertain whether people were supporting the government or against it. Discontent among all sections of people has increased against KCR as the government had failed in fulfilling the promises made during elections, he said.

He further said that farmers were at the receiving end due to the delay in the loan waiver scheme, students were burdened as government stopped releasing funds under fee reimbursement scheme and the distribution of land to poor was yet to take off. If the Chief Minister is sincere, he should conduct praja ballot on the implementation of the promises made by him during 2014 election, he said.

Revanth also recalled that in the previous election, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy claimed his YSR Congress would emerge victorious by showing the survey reports but the reports proved to be wrong as the TDP won the election in Andhra Pradesh.
