Moreover, he sensitised over 10,000 high school and college students on snakes and even prepared a team of 50 students to catch snakes. Sadasivayya, botany lecturer in Government Degree College for Boys at Wanaparthy in Mahabubnagar district has earned a reputation as an expert at catching venomous snakes.

He was born in an agriculture family of Kuntamadi in Ramagiri mandal of Anantpur district. He did M Sc in Botany. He did research on trees and plants in Nallamala forest region of Mahabubnagar district and obtained Ph D. During his doctoral study, one day when he was venturing into the Nallamala forest he came across a snake, which he killed on the sport. While returning home, he found ants eating away the dead snake. A moved Sadasivaiah stopped killing snakes and started catching them and releasing them in forests.

Ever since he was appointed as lecturer in Government Degree College at Wanaparthy in 2012, he catches snakes in Wanaparthy division responding to telephone calls and releases them in the forest area. So far, he released more than 400 snakes into the forest. He sensitised students of over 156 educational institutions about the medicinal qualities of the snake’s venom.
