Will approach HC over new Secretariat, says Komatireddy
MLA and Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Wednesday said he would approach the High Court if the State government goes ahead with its plan to raze down the existing Secretariat blocks to construct new building.
Hyderabad: MLA and Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Wednesday said he would approach the High Court if the State government goes ahead with its plan to raze down the existing Secretariat blocks to construct new building.
The Congress leader said that the TRS government was focusing on Vaastu compliance of government building rather than concentrating on the welfare of the people. He alleged that the State government was wasting public money by going for new building unnecessarily.
At a time when farmers, students and the poor were suffering due to the lack of funds for various sectors, the government was planning to spend crores of rupees to build a new Secretariat which was against the democratic spirit, the Congress MLA remarked.
