A 9 crore bull that guzzles beer, whiskey!
Who can resist admiring a bull that quaffs whiskey and beer, gobbles badam pista and cashew nuts, and yields semen worth Rs 70 lakh per annum? A big crowd of gawkers gathered around Murra bull, Virat, an exhibit worth Rs 9 crore at the ‘Sadar Festival’.
​Hyderabad: Who can resist admiring a bull that quaffs whiskey and beer, gobbles badam pista and cashew nuts, and yields semen worth Rs 70 lakh per annum? A big crowd of gawkers gathered around Murra bull, Virat, an exhibit worth Rs 9 crore at the ‘Sadar Festival’.
The bull belongs to “Murra” breed and enjoys participating in exhibitions. In fact, it has taken part in several exhibitions not only in India, but also abroad. The Hyderabad ‘Sadar’ organisers brought Virat from Haryana spending huge money for the festival.
It is not a usual bull. It eats several kilos of badam pista or cashew nuts when it is hungry. It drinks only mineral water. It guzzles two cartons of beer at night during summer. In winter, it gulps down two bottles of Black Dog whiskey.
The Rs 9-crore bull is a special attraction at the festival. The owner of the bull earns Rs 70 lakh a year by selling its semen. Chittaboina Parusharam Yadav, Chittaboina Sandeep Yadav and Chittaboina Laddu Yadav from the Chappal Bazaar are among the organisers of the Sadar Festival.
