Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao has asked the State government to make public the details of the Backward Communities collected during the Integrated Household Survey (IHS).

In a letter addressed to Governor ESL Narasimhan and BC Commission, VHR asked as to why the State government had kept the IHS findings secret and demanded that the findings be placed entirely in public domain.

In his letter, he alleged that the 27% quota granted by the Centre to the BCs was not being implemented and that the BCs were not getting their due share.

Slamming the TRS government for its decision to demolish the existing Secretariat building and construct a new one, VHR alleged that the State government was wasting public money for unnecessary works, and demanded that the government release a ‘White Paper’ on the action plan to be adopted with regard to the development of the newly-formed districts.
