Agri officers asked to visit farmers to solve problems
“Agriculture officials are directed to speed up issuing licenses to the farmer’s associations and their societies. We have also directed the officials to reach 100 per cent insurance targets during this Rabi season,” informed the collector.
Mahabubnagar: District Collector Ronal Rose has directed the agriculture officers from all mandals in the district to visit the farmers and solve their problems in the villages. While addressing a coordination meeting between the agriculture officers, district cooperative societies, supervision officers and presidents and CEOs of primary farmers associations in the district at DCCB Bank auditorium hall on Monday, the collector directed the officials to immediately issue licenses to all the farmers association and their societies and asked them to regularly inform about the government subsidies and other benefits to the farmers through these societies.
“Agriculture officials are directed to speed up issuing licenses to the farmer’s associations and their societies. We have also directed the officials to reach 100 per cent insurance targets during this Rabi season,” informed the collector. The collector also directed the agriculture officials to write the indents sitting in the banks and if there is any problem relating to the farmer’s issues must be informed to the joint collector and resolve the same as early as possible. The collector also advised the agriculture officials to earn the confidence of the farmers by ensuring timely supply of seeds and resolving their problems without pending them for long.
