Of the 100 students 88 were present at the lunch. The students vomited after noticing insects in rasam. The parents and students also accused the scheme organisers of providing non-boiled eggs as part of the meal.
Following information, MRO Aruna and MEO Venkatayya visited the school and examined the rasam and found insects in it. They persuaded the parents to end their agitation by promising to take action against the meal organisers.
