MCR HRDI, CII sign MoU for activity-based collaboration

​Hyderabad: Dr MCR HRD Institute and Confederation of India Industry (CII) Telangana, signed a MoU for activity-based collaboration, here on Wednesday. Dr MCR HRD Institute Joint Director-General Anitha Balakrishna and CII Southern Region Chairman Ramesh Datla signed the agreement. Both the organisations will work on some important areas which Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainability, Make in India, Make in Telangana, and governance, which will create positive impact on the society.

The first spell of the joint initiative will involve organisation of two national seminars on ‘Best Practices in Corporate Social Responsibility’ and ‘Case Studies on Governance’. The other interventions planned are collaboration in the fields of Disaster Management and Climate Change, besides others.

MCR HRD Institute Director General Vinod Kumar Agrawal, who was also present, said that a much larger scale of collaboration between the two organisations was the need of the hour. “Such socially-relevant campaigns as CSR, Make in India, Make in Telangana, Eco-Responsiveness, Climate Change, Disaster Management, etc. will achieve higher levels of success when the government and corporate sector join hands and put forth concerted efforts in order to make them a spectacular success,” Agrawal said.
