Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Saturday announced that every household among the nine million houses in Telangana state would have a Broadband internet connection within the next 18 months.
Speaking at the Icon Conference at Hitech International Convention Centre (HICC) at Hitech city, the Minister informed that the Centre is taking up the initiative as a prestigious Digital Telangana project, to a degree of Digital India project.
Elaborating further, KTR said that the fibre cables for the broadband connection will be laid along with the water pipelines and the roads are already being dug up in this regard.
