‘Dhyana Sadassu’ with focus on ‘Music-Meditation-Wisdom’ to be held at KU Arts and Science College grounds in Hanamkonda from 11 am to 12.30 pm

Warangal: Noted spiritual leader and founder of Art of Living Foundation, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is on a maiden visit to Warangal on Sunday.

He is scheduled to deliver spiritual discourse at the ‘Dhyana Sadassu’ with focus on ‘Music-Meditation-Wisdom’ to be held at KU Arts and Science College grounds in Hanamkonda from 11 am to 12.30 pm, informed the foundation zonal coordinator Anil Agarwal.

According to him about 20, 000 disciples of Sri Sri are expected to attend the sadassu. Huge pandal is erected at the college to accommodate the disciples and local dignitaries who will be arriving here from different parts of the state.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has founded courses that provide techniques and tools to live a deeper, joyous life. Nonprofit organizations established by him recognize human identity above boundaries of race, nationality and religion. His goal is to uplift people around the globe, to reduce stress, and to develop leaders so that human values can flourish in communities.

‘Gurudev Sri Sri, the recipient of the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second highest civilian award is a humanitarian leader, a spiritual teacher and an ambassador of peace. His envisions creating stress-free, violence-free society across the world with service projects and Art of Living courses’ Agarwal said.

Sri Sri’s visit to Warangal and holding the sadassu here is meant to take the message of love and peace to grassroots level; he said and appealed the public in Warangal and neghbouring districts to attend the sadassu in large numbers.
