12-year-old attempts fire stunt, dies in Karimnagar

A 12 year-old boy from Karimnagar lost his life after trying to imitate a fire breathing stunt video posted on YouTube.

The boy, Koduri Ghanashyam, studying in Class VII tried to repeat a stunt where in he tried to blow fire with kerosene in his mouth.

Having sustained severe burns in the process, the boy was admitted into a hospital immediately. After battling for life in the hospital for six days, the boy succumbed to death.

The boy is said to be fond of experiments and stunts which he often tries to perform by himself. On November 17, early in the morning, Ghanashyam performed the stunt while his parents were still asleep. While the boy was rushed to a hospital in Hyderabad for treatment, he couldn't survive.
