Yadagirigutta: The Center for Indian Trade Unions (CITU) 10th state executive , which was held here on Tuesday, elected the district committees for Nalgonda, Yadadri and Suryapeta districts in the wake of trifurcation of Nalgonda district.

CPI (M) all-India committee member Cherupatti Sitaramulu and CPI (M) state secretariat member Julakanti Ranga Reddy attended the meeting.

They blamed the State and Central governments for failing to implement the promises made to people at the time of elections.

Sitaramulu described demonetisation of high-value notes as an attempt to protect the black money hoarders.

The measure had causing severe hardships to middle classes, but it did not pinch the well-heeled sections of society, he said.

Julakanti Ranga Reddy accused the TRS government of snatching land from farmers in the name of irrigation projects.

In the name of construction of new buildings, old buildings were being razed only to fill the pockets of the TRS leaders, he alleged.
