Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is all set to perform house-warming ceremony for the newly-constructed Vaastu compliant residence -cum -camp office during early hours (5.22 am) on Thursday.
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is all set to perform house-warming ceremony for the newly-constructed Vaastu compliant residence -cum -camp office during early hours (5.22 am) on Thursday.
Governor ESL Narasimhan, his wife Vimala Narasimhan, Seer Chinna Jeeyar Swamy and several ministers and officials would grace the occasion.
As part of the house-warming ceremony, the Chief Minister will perform Daiva Pravesam, Yati Pravesam, Go Pravesam, Griha Pravesam and other related ceremonies as per the holy scriptures. As part of the ceremony, prayers from all religions will also take place.
The new building complex has three separate blocks for residence and Chief Minister’s Office. It also has a state-of-the-art conference hall.
In all, there are five buildings, including the existing two buildings where KCR lives now. The existing building has been named as Pragathi Bhavan by the state government.
The conference hall will serve as a meeting place where the Chief Minister will meet the farmers, workers, employees and artisans. This block has been named as Janahita.
The new palatial bungalow spread over nine acres has a built-up area of one lakh square feet and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The total cost of the building is Rs 50 crore.
The office block spread over 50,000 square feet would have a spacious office chamber for the Chief Minister, a small conference room to accommodate 50 persons, chambers for Chief Minister's Office staff and a visitors' lounge.
The 40,000 sq ft residential block would have six bedrooms, an office chamber, visitor's lounge, dining hall, a gymnasium and a home theatre.
