KTR to attend Aus-India leadership summit
IT, Industries and Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao has been invited to attend the Australia India Leadership Summit to be held at Melbourne in Australia on December 5.
Hyderabad: IT, Industries and Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao has been invited to attend the Australia India Leadership Summit to be held at Melbourne in Australia on December 5.
The Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop wrote to the Minister inviting him to address the event, which would be attended by Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull. The event is being organised to encourage business relations between India and Australia.
About 50 eminent businessmen, government officials, policy makers and intellectuals from both the countries would take part in the meeting. The meeting would discuss the functioning of the governments, economic issues, opportunities in the business sector and other issues.
The Australian Foreign Minister stated that their country’s business organisations had expressed interest in partnering with the IT, industrial investments and infrastructure in urban areas in Telangana.
The Australian High Commission, which sent the letter to the Minister, said it would arrange a meeting of Rama Rao with their Prime Minister during the event. There would be a meeting with the Australian IT Minister and a visit to Bio Medical Park. The IT Minister has expressed his happiness over the invitation of Australian officials.
