The development came a day after the Bench asked the petitioner to file an undertaking as to when it would vacate the land in question.
The Bench on Wednesday wondered how the petitioner continued to squat on the property when the lease for land adjacent to IMAX theatre in the heart of the city had expired in 2009.
The Petitioner not only informed the Court that it would vacate the premises by Saturday, but also sought permission to withdraw its appeal.
