Medak couple commit suicide a day after their marriage
A couple who got married on Saturday committed suicide together on Sunday morning. The incident took place in Nagula Gutta village of Veldurti mandal in Medak district.
A couple who got married on Saturday committed suicide together on Sunday morning. The incident took place in Nagula Gutta village of Veldurti mandal in Medak district.
The couple who were said to be in love for a long time tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in the village on Saturday. While there was no resistence from either of the families for the marriage, the family members even were seen in attendance.
Post the wedding ceremony, the couple moved to their house and didn't come out till afternoon on Sunday. The neighbours out of suspicion knocked the doors but got no response following which they alerted the police. They knocked down the door to find both of them hanging in the bedroom.
Police have filed a case and are investigating. More details are awaited.
