The District Collector distributed sweaters, blankets, plates and glasses to the students who were staying in Charlottes Children’s Home at Ramakoti thanda of Chivvemla mandal in the district.

Suryapet: The District Collector K Surendra Mohan on Saturday felt that contributing small part of amount of earning to social services would give self-satisfaction to anybody.

The District Collector distributed sweaters, blankets, plates and glasses to the students who were staying in Charlottes Children’s Home at Ramakoti thanda of Chivvemla mandal in the district.

Speaking on the occasion, Surendra Mohan said that the students should properly utilise the available facilities and put their all out efforts to reach high goals in the future.

He appreciated David Raju for runningCharles Children’s Home to provide shelter and education to the orphans.He also informed that English medium sections would be introduced from Class-I in rural areas to provide quality education to the students of tribal community.

He has also assured to solve drinking water and electricity problems which prevailed in the home. He also assured to write to the Commissioner of Civil Supplies to supply fine rice to the Home from January on subsidised price.

Steps would also take up to provide sports items to the students of the Home through ICDS.Mandal Education Officer Malla Reddy and District Pastors’ Committee president Durgam Prabhakar were also attended the program.
