Hyderabad: Vivekananda Residential School, Karimnagar has celebrated National Cadet Corps (NCC) Day to show the gratitude great men who struggle day and night for the well being of the countrymen.

All the NCC students took part in demonstrating the benevolence of these men by various performances.Beautiful dances and songs were dedicated to them. A show of various patterns of pyramids was performed which amazed the audience.

There was an informative and inspirational speech by the principal, T Lalitha Kumari which enlighted the minds of students about the Tri-service organisation and their moto-Unity and Discipline.

The significance of each colour in the NCC flag was amplified to the students.Colour red represents the army, deep blue represents the navy and sky blue represents the air force.

On this occasion NCC students of VRS collected funds and donated to Rotary club through M Harihara Prasad, Dist. Rotary Foundation Chair Secretary.
