With the present Chief Secretary of Telangana, Rajeev Sharma's tenure coming to an end, the state government has appointed Pradeep Chandra as the new CS.
Pradeep Chandra will be taking charge as the new Chief Secretary from Rajeev Sharma on Wednesday evening. Belonging to the 1982 IAS batch, Mr Chandra is said to have been selected by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao among the various contenders.
The Telangana government has already passed the orders confirming the appointment. While Rajeev Sharma is the first Chief Secretary of Telangana, his tenure was extended a couple of time. Now, Pradeep Chandra would be taking up his responsibilities for the state.
