Hyderabad Metro Rail project: KCR issues deadline of August 2018

The review meeting was held at the CM's camp office on Wednesday with L&T Metro chairman SN Subramanian and MD Shivanand, Chief Minister’s principal secretary S Narsing Rao, Hyderabad Metro Rail MD SNVS Reddy and other officials participation.
The officials were directed to complete the operations as early as possible as it would resolve the traffic woes in Hyderabad to a certain extent.
While th original deadline was July 2017 as per the agreement but, it has been extended by over a year now. Instructing officials to complete the Metro Corridor-I from Miyapur to LB Nagar by November 2017, KCR stated that the government would extend all the help in order to complete the Metro Rail project early.
