Telugu girl studying in US succumbed to death in road mishap
A 23-year-old Telugu girl, Chunduri Sai Tejaswi pursuing her higher studies in USA died after she was hit by a speeding vehicle while trying to cross the road in Fremont’s Niles District.
A 23-year-old Telugu girl, Chunduri Sai Tejaswi pursuing her higher studies in USA died after she was hit by a speeding vehicle while trying to cross the road in Fremont’s Niles District.
The police arrived after a report was made on the collision near Niles Boulevard and Rock Avenue. Stating that the victim was crossing westbound Niles Boulevard and not in the crosswalk, the police said that two vehicles were approaching the road but one notice the pedestrain and stopped the vehicle while the other didn't see and struck her.
While the victim was rushed to a hospital, she succumbed to death later. The driver who struck the victim co-operated with the investigation and police even determined that he was under no influence of drugs or alcohol. Hence they are not pursuing criminal charges currently.
