New Delhi: Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Col Rajvardhan Rathore, told the Lok Sabha here on Thursday that there was no proposal to impose upper age limit of 25 years for seeking admissions into the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). As per the fee, a 10 per cent hike annually was the norm to help the Institute sustain financially, he said.

This was in response to a question of the TRS MP, B Vinod Kumar. To his another question on Panchayat Raj provisions and whether funds were released to ‘Mana Vooru, Mana Pranalika’ scheme in Telangana, the Union Minister of State, Parshottam Rupala, replied that no fund had been released during the last three years and also for the current year under Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan.
