Speaking to the media, Veerabhadram alleged that the TRS government, after making all kinds of promises to the people for the uplift of all sections of the society, has not cared to honour them after coming to power.

Nizamabad: The ‘Mahajana Padayatra’ of the CPI(M), which entered its 48th day on Friday, continued its journey in Kamareddy district. Party Telangana Secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram, who is leading the yatra, accused the TRS government of not honouring its assurances given to the people during the last two and a half years.

Speaking to the media, Veerabhadram alleged that the TRS government, after making all kinds of promises to the people for the uplift of all sections of the society, has not cared to honour them after coming to power.

The TRS hoodwinked the people, he alleged .He criticised the TRS ministers and other leaders for repeatedly harping on ushering in Bangaru Telangana, but failing to take steps for achieving it. Nothing concrete has been done to achieve Bangaru Telangana, he added.

Veerabhadram said that the Maha padayatra was being organised for achieving social justice and for forcing the TRS government to honour the promises made to the people.

The government just cannot make wild promises during electioneering just for coming to power and forget them later, he added. He said that the people cannot be taken for a ride. The TRS already lost credibility.
