Justice Raja Elango of the High Court at Hyderabad on Friday disposed off a writ plea filed by Vangaveeti Radha Krishna. The judge recorded the statement made by Challa Dhananjay counsel for Ram Gopal Varma that the song in the promos referring to communities will not be part of the movie.
The judge closed the writ petition and directed the writ petitioner to move the Censor’s Board if he had any grievance about the content of the film. He said that the statutory authority will look into the valid grievances.
The petitioner has challenged the R G V outing said to be a film based on the lives and times of the leader Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga and the local feuds of his times.
