The holidays lined-up are December 10 - Second Saturday, December 11 - Sunday and December 12 - Milad-un-Nabi, Prophet's Birthday.
Even after the demonetization move came into effect a month ago, the impact is still not reduced as the people are queuing up for cash across the country.
In the 50-day timeline set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 30 days have already been completed and with the long bank holidays, it is bound to add further problems for the public.
