Hyderabad: On instructions of the Union government, the Telangana government on Wednesday constituted a task force committee to review the impact of demonetisation and monitor the implementation of the action plan for financial inclusion in the State.
The seven-member committee headed by State Finance Secretary would study the impact of demonetisation on the State economy and prepare action plan to overcome the crisis.
Joint Secretary to the government (Finance), SLBC (State Level Bankers Committee) convener, a representative from RBI, Chief Post Master General, Chief General Manager, BSNL, and zonal head of SBI and Andhra Bank are the members of the committee, according to an official release issued here on Wednesday.
