Hyderabad: Mart Connect, online E-commerce portal on Friday claimed that it had collaborated with TSRTC to be the official ticket booking gateway for the corporation. This was announced by the Mart Connect managing director G Bernise in a press conference here on Friday.

He said that the collaboration would help RTC in reaching more customers who are not online, the ticket booking Agent can establish retail channel service across all retailers in the company’s network.

He said that there are over 5,000 TSRTC/Mart Connect agents across Telangana reaching 464 mandals and 10,761 villages. He claimed that this was the first B2B agreement with RTC and added that they would be soon talking to Karnataka RTC for a tie up.

He said that the customers can get these services at local store through relationship and the customers can save time and money on travel as they do not need to go to cities or towns to get these services. He said that Mart Connect would be like a mediator between the authorised ticket booking agents and the passengers.
